Elegante fregata disegnata verso la fine del 1700 dall'architetto Chapman per conto della flotta di Sua Maesta' Britannica.
Anche il nostro modello, come nella realta', e' armato di 24 cannoni sul ponte di batteria e di 8 cannoni in coperta tutti completi di affuso e ruote. La linea dello scafo snellae filante e l'imponente alberatura, ne fanno una imbarcazione di grande effetto estetico.

La scatola di montaggio, oltre ad offrire il consuete tutto tagliato, contiene legnami pregiati di diverse essenze, permette la costruzione a doppio fasciame e l'apertura dei portelli cannoni con procedimento brevettato.

Historically the frigate HMS Unicorn has left us no tales of outstanding war feats or important enterprises, those which often mark the career of a man-of-war so that they are remembered even after its disappearance. All we know is that the HMS Unicorn was designed by F.H.Chapman for the British Fleet in 1700. Like the original, our model is armed with 24 guns on the open fighting deck and 8 guns below, all complete with gun mountings and wheels. The sleek and tapered line of the hull and the impressive masts make this an extremely striking and beautiful ship.
